Effective November 1, 2026 · Southfield Basement Waterproofing (southfieldbasementwaterproofing.com)

Short version: the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the request form, and the only thing we do with it is pass it to one independent waterproofing contractor who serves Southfield so they can contact you. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list.

Who runs this site

southfieldbasementwaterproofing.com is operated by Southfield Basement Waterproofing, an independent referral service based in Metro Detroit, Michigan. It is not a contractor and does not perform, estimate, or warrant any work. Questions about this policy can be sent through the form on the contact page.

What we collect

• What you send through the form: your name, phone number, ZIP code, the problem you describe, and an email address if you choose to give one.
• Ordinary web logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our form-delivery provider (Web3Forms) handle the technical side of serving pages and delivering form submissions. Like most web services they log basic request data such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request to keep the service running and block abuse. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site.

How we use it

• We pass your request to one independent local waterproofing contractor so they can contact you about a free estimate. That contractor is a separate business and handles your information under its own practices.
• We may contact you once to confirm the contractor reached you or to ask how it went.
• We keep form submissions in our email inbox so we can answer questions or complaints about a referral; you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
• We do not send newsletters or marketing messages.
• We do not share your request with more than one contractor without asking you first.

Your choices

Send a note through the form on the contact page (say it is a privacy request) to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. If a contractor already has your details, contact them directly as well; we will pass your deletion request along.

Children

This site is for homeowners and renters making decisions about a home. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
